8-20-17
A lean 5-foot-8, 135-pound developing frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide open athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate leg kick and hand load for timing, hands are short and quick to the ball, bat path is flat to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle-to-pull flat approach with occasional lift, consistent barrels, 80 mph exit velo. Gets out of the box extremely well, runs a 4.21 home-to-first. Defensively, shows confident actions with consistent and soft hands, and clean footwork around the ball. Throws from a low-3/4 with accuracy, 74 mph. In the game, went 0-for-3.

2/4/18
A developing 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open and athletic stance with rhythm in his hands. 3/13/18
A developing 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame. Defensively Brumbaugh shows advanced hands and feet. Plays third base for Santa Fe, but will likely find his way into the middle infield in years to come. Offensively, the right-handed hitter has some length and impressive bat speed in his swing, and advanced hand-eye allows it to play. Brumbaugh went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in this one. Also, runs very well for his age with intelligence on the bases.

Uses a moderate hanging leg kick and long stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with advanced bat speed. In BP, shows a middle to pull gap and mostly flat approach with occasional lift, all barrels and one of the best rounds at the event, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.75 second 60.
