Body: 6-6, 215-pounds. Large and physical projectable frame. Hit: RHH. Neutral stance with an upright posture in the upper body. Hands get set above shoulder height with a high back elbow and a 45 degree barrel angle. Strong weight stack onto a firm back leg. Simple stride into a narrow base. Lower half works short and rotational through the zone into a firm front leg. Shows very quick hands and good overall bat speed. Strong rotational acceleration metrics. Does a good job of matching plane with the pitch and works the lower half underneath the ball. Rotational path with the hands with a slightly uphill bat path. Power: 98.41 max exit velocity, averaged 73.64 mph. 303’ max distance. Hits with strong leverage and good hand strength. Arm: RH. INF - 82 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Defense: Attacks the ball with lateral routes and shifting footwork. Fields the ball deep into the body with developing glove action and a firm glove. Shows proper footwork around the bag with controlled rhythm. Run: 7.31 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Works exclusively out of the stretch position. Works to a mid height balance point with weight fully stacked onto the back leg. Hands break from the glove early and at chest height with a very high glove front side. Works from the first base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good momentum headed towards the plate. Lands to a firm plant leg with chest over the front knee at release. Drop and drive motion down the mound with a strong push off the rubber. Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a longer arm action. FB: T82.39, 80.15-81.88 mph. Strong arm side run at times with good command. T2021, 1925 average rpm. CB: 64.78-67.88 mph. Loopy shape with developing spin and bigger east/west action at times. T1428, 1356 average rpm. CH: mph. Very heavy arm side fading action. T1461, 1461 average rpm.

Colt Weaver: OF/RHP, (2023) Calera, OK. 6-foot-6, 210-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Began in a wide stance with a quick load, then used a toe tap. Had upward swing plane, quick bat speed and level finish. He found a few barrels in his rounds. Pull side approach. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 78 mph; has developing feet, firm hands and a developing exchange. Used a high ¾ slot and a long arm action. Recorded a time of 7.08 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 75-77 mph with a max of 79 mph. Curveball (57-58 mph).
5/29/18 An extremely projectable 6-foot-4, 180 pound frame with wiry strength and long limbs. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy set-up with some bend in his waist and rhythm in his hands. Uses a short load and almost no stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension with bat speed. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with consistent lift, exit velo of 78 mph. Runs a 7.40 60. Defensively, shows some stiffness, but moves well for his size with active feet and consistent hands, throws from an high-¾ slot with accuracy, 73 mph to second. On the mound, the long right-hander works from an uptempo delivery with high leg kick. Arm action is moderate in the back getting high above his head quickly before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sits 72-76 with downhill tilt, mostly strikes. Changeup is 53-54 mph with some fade. Curveball is 51 mph. Both off speed pitches are still developing.
