6/04/19

A 6-foot, 170-pound proportional frame. The right-hander works from an up tempo delivery with a moderate leg kick before driving to the dish and finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long in the back with a quick change of direction before coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm speed. Fastball sits 80-82 mph with consistent heavy sink, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with some late depth. Struck out one and jammed the other three hitters he faced.

Featured a 6-foot, 170-pound long frame. The right-handed hitter starts tall and slightly-open utilizing a quick leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Demonstrated present sink, getting into a solid lower-half while impacting the ball with a flat-bat path. Hit into a soft front-side yielding an 81 mph bat-exit velocity . Recorded a 7.70 60-yard dash. The secondary third-baseman displayed solid footwork through the ball during defensive evaluations with a soft glove hand. Arrived to the ball on time and consistently with feet that carried accurate 82 mph throws across the infield. A moderate takeaway was used with a quick, high ¾ arm-stroke on the way forward.

A  6-foot, 160-pound proportional frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple up tempo delivery with a moderate leg lift before striding down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and clean in the back, getting high before coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 80-82 mph, almost all strikes. Curveball shows gradual depth and 11/5 shape at 65-66 mph, mostly strikes. Changeup shows consistent fade, often off to the arm side at 71-74 mph.

A 6-foot 0, 160-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a tall slightly open, balanced, and setup. Uses a rocking load with a short stride, flat hand path, and short finish. In BP, shows a flat and middle of the field approach, nearly all barrels, 79 exit velo. Runs a 7.63 60. Defensively, shows an off-set set-up with right foot deeper than left receiving with soft controlled hands and showing efficient footwork to second base.Throws down with a high-3/4 arm action, 73 mph down to second base and some accuracy for showcase pop times of 2.03-2.28.

A lean 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an abbreviated wind-up with average tempo before striding down the mound and finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long and loose in the back, getting high before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 78-79 mph, some strikes. Curveball got better the more he threw it, 11/5 shape with rolling action, 62-64 mph. Changeup shows some fade at 71-72 mph. 

A lean 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame with room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a quiet, relaxed, and upright set-up. Uses a smooth load and short stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, mostly barrels, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.59 second 60. Defensively, shows well above average hands and above average feet with quick exchanges and a quick release at times. Throws with a short arm stroke through multiple slots with excellent accuracy at 75 mph across the diamond.

A proportional 6-foot, 160-pound frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and a moderate leg kick before striding down the mound with some leg drive. Arm action is very long in the back with some looseness before coming through a near over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 77-81 and jumps on hitters. Curveball sits 67-68 with rolling shape, some depth, and 11/5 shape. Changeup flashed excellent depth and fade at times sitting 70-71 mph. In the game, Ewy faced five batters, striking out three, surrendering one hit and no walks.

Uses a short load and moderate stride before pulling his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field and flat approach, almost all barrels, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.59 60. Defensively, shows active feet, getting around the ball well, and above average hands. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy at 77 mph across the diamond.
