A 6-foot-1, 180-pound durable build. Uses a clean delivery with average tempo and some rhythm. Short arm circle in the back, slight pause before coming through, 3/4 slot with some fluidity. Fastball sits 79-81 mph with some run and flashed late sink when down in the zone. Slider shows 2/8 shape with late bite at times, 72-73 mph. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed, some sink, 74-75.

A 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with long legs. Pitches from only the stretch. Uses a smooth high leg kick, controlled down the mound, and sinks deep into his front side before pitching against it. Arm action is moderate with a wrist hook in the back, coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 77-78 on this day (we have seen him up into the low 80s before) flashing arm-side run and sink. Breaking ball morphed from 1/7 shape with later break to a bigger and sweeping 2/8 shape, 64-66 mph. Also showed a changeup with some fade. In the game, didn’t display his best command, occasionally missing big, but showed lots of deception and the ability to get consistently weak contact.
