John Baer LHP / 1B / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2018

A 6-foot, 245-pound frame with some strength. The left-hander works solely out of the stretch with average tempo and effort. Uses a high leg kick with a slight coil before sinking into his back leg and striding toward the plate. Arm action is full and fluid coming through a low-¾ slot. Fastball has risen to 77-78 mph and shows deception with arm-side run and some sink. Changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed with excellent late fade. Bear charged the zone in his inning of work striking out one and giving up a pair of hits.

Jordan Brewer LHP / 1B / Choctaw , OK / 2020

A 6-foot-1, 175-pound proportional build. Works from an average tempo wind-up with good rhythm that he repeated well. Arm circle is full with a slight pause at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sits 81-83 mph with occasional arm-side run. Curveball has 1/7 shape with some late action, thrown with near fastball arm speed and above average command, 74-75 mph. In the game, Brewer threw strikes early in his outing and became a bit erratic later. Definitely more in the tank, a young prospect to keep track of.

Hunter Burnett LHP / Edmond North, OK / 2019

A 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with long legs. Pitches from only the stretch. Uses a smooth high leg kick, controlled down the mound, and sinks deep into his front side before pitching against it. Arm action is moderate with a wrist hook in the back, coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 77-78 on this day (we have seen him up into the low 80s before) flashing arm-side run and sink. Breaking ball morphed from 1/7 shape with later break to a bigger and sweeping 2/8 shape, 64-66 mph. Also showed a changeup with some fade. In the game, didn’t have his best command, occasionally missing big, but showed lots of deception and the ability to get consistently weak contact.

Roman Duren Jr. LHP / OF / Carl Albert, OK / 2019

A 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame. Works from an average tempo delivery with a high leg kick, gets down the mound well. Arm action is full with a quick change of direction at the bottom of the stroke, comes through an over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 79-80 mph. Curveball shows 1/7 shape with some tight spin, 64-65 mph. Duren charged the zone in his inning of work with all three out coming by way of strikeout.

Max Huffling LHP / 1B / Deer Creek , OK / 2019

A physically impressive 6-foot-8, 225-pound frame with strength throughout. On the mound, works from a smooth and controlled delivery with average effort. Fastball flashes arm side run at 80-83 mph and bumps 84-85 whenever Huffling reaches back for more with some downhill tilt. Breaking ball shows 2/8 shape with gradual break, 69-70 mph. In his outing, Huffling seemed to show more command as he loosed up and attacked hitters with his best fastball.

Cooper Hunt LHP / OF / Dale, OK / 2019

A 5-foot-10, 180-pound durable frame. On the mound, works from an abbreviated, uptempo wind up with a high leg kick ans some rhythm. Arm action full with a quick change of direction in the back coming through a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sits 80-82 mph and touches 83 with some arm side run. Changeup is a swing and miss secondary pitch with late fade and thrown with full arm speed, though Hunt does not often go to it. Curveball shows 1/7 gradual break and depth. In the game, challenged hitters and got mostly weak contact.

A 5-foot-11, 200-pound durable frame. On the mound, works from a deliberate tempo before sinking into his backside and driving to the dish. Arm action is full and fluid with some quickness, coming through an over the top slot. Fastball sits 81-83 with downhill tilt and some late sinking action, getting lots of swings and misses. Curveball is arguably one of the best in the class thrown with full arm speed, 12/6 shape, late depth, and tight spin at 68-70 mph. In the game, Spry filled up the strike zone with both pitches, striking out a pair of hitters along with giving up two hits.

Changeup shows late fade, thrown with full arm speed, well commanded, 71-72 mph. Curveball shows 1/7-2/8 shape with gradual break, 67-68 mph. Timmons filled up the zone in the game using mainly the fastball, but flashed an excellent changeup when he threw it.
