Body: 5-foot-10, 160-pounds.  Athletic and lean frame with room for added strength and size in the future.

Hit: LHH.  Athletic posture with active hands.  Big leg kick stride with slight coil in the front hip.  Matches plane with the pitch nice and utilizes the lower half well into the swing.  Good lower half drive into a firm front side.  Hands work quickly through the zone and shows strong overall bat speed.  Line drive approach and utilizes the whole field well.  Maintains balance and athleticism throughout the swing.

Defense:  In the infield attacks the ball with smooth rhythm and active feet.  Fields the ball out in front of the body with good glove action and soft hands.  Shows the ability to field the ball on the move well.  Registered 80 mph from across the diamond.

Run: 7.35 runner in the 60.

Hit: LHH.  At the plate starts with an open stance and athletic posture.  Hands get set slightly above shoulder height with a high back elbow.  Leg kick stride with strong coil with the hips and shoulders at the top of the balance point.  Very good weight transfer to a firm front leg with the lower half working linearly and efficiently through the swing.  Hands take good routes to the ball with a slight uphill bat path and shows the ability to work the lower half underneath the ball.  Hands work quickly through the zone and shows strong rotational acceleration metrics according to Blast sensor.

Power: 85 mph exit velocity off the tee and 88 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  INF-79 mph.  High ¾ arm slot with short arm swing and longer release.

Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with aggressive rhythm and fields the ball with a high waist bend.  Shows softer hands and developing feel for glove action out in front of the body.  Clean and quick transfers out of the glove and shows a good slow roller technique.

Run: 4.63 runner to first base.

Hutch Russell: SS/RHP, (2024) Albert, OK. 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Russells best exit velocity was 79 mph. Began in a tall stance with a compact load, then used a leg kick to start his swing. Has explosive bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. He Barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 79 mph; has sure hands, athletic feet and a packing exchange. Showed an-over-the-top slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.48. Above average on the mound, has quick arm speed and an over-the-top arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Uphill shoulders and athletic balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Changeup (63-64 mph).Threw his fastball 76-77 mph with a max of 77 mph; had a glove side control that shows straight movement. Throws a 12/6 curveball (58-62).
