Arriving in Fayetteville after a successful freshman season at Oklahoma (.252/.347/.408) and a strong summer of 2021 in the Cape (.279/.375/.504, 5 HR) with wood, Bohrofen was expected to occupy the middle of the Razorback lineup. However, the left handed hitter struggled much of the season, ending with a .228/.333/.435 slash. Due to his subpar sophomore season he was well down scout’s pref lists entering the 2023 season. However, with a well-rounded toolset, strong aptitude and work ethic, Bohrofen has responded with a loud 2023 season. Although he struggled in the three game set against South Carolina (1-for-11 with top exit velocities of 96 and 94 mph on a pair of flyouts), he still leads the Hogs in batting average (.355) and home runs (13). He is also second to Mr. Clutch (a.k.a Kendall Diggs) in RBI with 45. With an upright, slightly open stance he dives slightly into the plate, but stays balanced and doesn’t give away the inner half of the plate. Overall, the athletic, 6-foot-2, 205-pound outfielder lacks a big wow! tool, he does not have a glaring weakness. Besides his offensive prowess he is also regarded as an above average defender in left field and throws average. He’s also a near average runner and has stolen seven bases in ten attempts this spring. Bohrofen will likely be selected in the top three to four rounds.
Cape Cod: Posting another solid summer in the Cape, Bohrofen slashed .281/.379/.544 over 66 plate appearances, one year after a nearly identical production line of .279/.375/.504 over 152 PAs in 2021 for the Commodores. A 6-foot-2, 205-pound left handed hitter, he struggled against lefty spin on our looks. A near average defender with fringe run speed and average arm strength has a well-rounded toolset and profiles best to left field.
A 2020 high school graduate, Bohrofen spent just one season at Oklahoma, where he slashed .252/.408/.347 in 103 at-bats this spring. He will transfer to Arkansas this fall and should battle for a corner spot in the Razorbacks' outfield. The Cape All-Star produced consistent, hard contact during my look, nothing different from the season-long production that he has put together with a .313 average, five home runs and 14 extra base hits in 99 at-bats for the Commodores. At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, the athletic outfielder has quick hands and strong forearms that allow him to work the barrel through the zone. He is hitterish in the box, setting up in an open and relaxed stance from the left side. Bohrofen uses all fields, showing average bat speed with good strength to drive the ball. There is a little length to his swing that can be exposed with the hard stuff in, but he's long through the ball and he has a plan at the plate. Down the line he's a below-average runner, and defensively showed fringe-to-average arm strength with solid accuracy from right field. Overall, Bohrofen showed the hitting ability to be considered a top-five-round follow for the 2023 draft.
Uncommitted. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound athletic outfielder has quick hands and strong forearms that allow him to work the barrel uphill through the zone, took quality at-bats all weekend, and drive it from gap to gap. He is hitterish in the box, and should continue to excel in the future. Was rewarded with a booming double off the right field wall in the last game.
A physically advanced 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a slightly open, relaxed, and upright set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate stride, hand load, short and flat to contact, high finish, and high-end bat speed. Easily, one of the best swings in the state. Bohrofen was 1-for-3 with a walk and a home run. Shows some arm strength and accuracy in the outfield.
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound physically advanced build with some strength. Offensively, a left-handed hitter, all fields, line drive approach with some pop. Hits from an upright, relaxed, balanced set-up, hands have good rhythm in front of his chest. Uses a small load, moderate stride, and shows off very quick hands, flat to contact with a high finish, creates consistent backspin. Easily one of the best rounds of BP on the day, exit velo 84 mph. Runs a 7.30 laser-timed 60. Defensively, clean, confident, and advanced actions. Throws from an over the top slot, some carry, 76 mph, most accurate outfield arm at the event.

Uses a moderate stride, hand load, short and flat to contact, high finish, and high end bat speed. Defensively, shows easy, clean, and confident actions. Throws from an over the top slot with advanced accuracy and carry, 81 mph. In the game, was 1-for-3 with a hard hit single.
