A 5-foot-10, 160-pound proportional frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high leg kick before sinking into his back side and driving down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action has a short circle in the back before coming through a catcher’s slot with some arm speed. Fastball sits 78-80 mph, mostly 80, with consistent and heavy arm-side run, some strikes. Curveball ranges 65-68 mph with 1/7 shape and some late depth, some strikes. In the game, Smith walked 4 and punched out 4 in his two innings of work, allowing only one hit.

A 5-foot-9, 160-pound proportional frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a short leg lift before striding closed down the mound and finishing slightly to the third base side. Arm action is very short in the back before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 76-77 mph, some strikes. Curveball has rolling action and 1/7 shape at 62-64 mph, mostly strikes. Changeup shows consistent sink at 61-63 mph, some strikes.

5-foot-9, 160-pound first baseman, hits from tall stance on the left side, simple short stride and hand path to the baseball from starting position. Lacks separation or a load, strides to hit in one motion, collapses to the baseball. Level bat path throughout with low finish, ground balls pull side, spray fly balls to opposite field, 77 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.41 60. Defensively, flashed some lower half acceleration to throw, aggressive to throw with some arm speed. Fields baseball with glove hand, works with good momentum to throw to the bag.  _footwork, _hands. On throws to second, short, spiral arm stroke coming through a low ¾ slot with arm side run at 82mph.
