Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. Lean and developing build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. Starts with a slightly closed stance and athletic posture. Quick rhythm with a two tap stride with hands getting set quickly into position. Strong rotational swing with hands working to the inside part of the ball. Line drive approach with a level bat path. Hands work quickly through the zone. Quick release of the top hand at contact point.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with aggressive rhythm and controlled rhythm. Fields the ball out in front of the glove side leg with a feel for glove action and clean exchanges. Utilizes a shuffle crow hop technique registering 80 mph from the OF.
Run: 5.01 runner home to first.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Works to a mid height balance point with strong weight stack onto the back leg. Glove tap hand break from the glove with hands working down around the waist. Smooth rhythm and pace to the delivery with strong balance and athleticism. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound into a firm plant leg.
Arm: Action: High ¾ arm slot with a clean and loose arm action.
Fastball: 77-81 mph. Riding life through the zone with strong tilt to the bottom of the zone.
Curveball: 64-68 mph. Strong shape and spin with heavy downward depth. Makings of a plus pitch.
