Fastball sits 81-83, touches 84, slightly down hill angle. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle of the field approach, some bat speed. Athletic, wide stance, aggressive load, short stride, short to contact, flat path through contact, some strength in hands. In-game 4.52 home-to-first.
A 5-foot-11, 180-pound lean, athletic build with some strength. Simple delivery, some shoulder tilt, strides slightly closed. Arm changes direction quickly in the back, loose on the way through, over the top slot, some arm speed. Fastball shows some downhill tilt, 80-83 mph. Curveball flashes good depth, 11/5 shape, 69-70 mph. Tipton recorded three strikeouts and three walks in his two innings.

Throws with a full arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with excellent accuracy, carry, and arm strength at 86 mph.
