Game Performance

Notes

Comments

3/15/23

Uncommitted 2024 RHP Adam Carmichael had one of the most dominant performances on Monday as he pounded the zone with all of his pitches. Fastball sat 81-83mph during the entirety of his outing and he set down the first 3 batters he faced via the strikeout. Had feel for the slider at 66-70 and could throw it in any count. Good looking uncommitted 2024 who continues to trend upwards and has the stuff and command that should draw interest from college coaches.

9/28/22

Carmicheal, 5-foot-11 155-pounds, had an impressive day on both sides of the field. Flashed a good round at the plate working gap to gap, found a lot of barrels with some pop to the pull side. On the mound the delivery was aggressive, the arm was whippy with a 3 pitch mix (FB,CH,CB) that he can locate for strikes.

3/14/22

2024 right-hander Adam Carmichael got the start this morning for the Ontario Prospects and was sharp throughout his multiple innings of work. 5-foot-11, 135-pounds and was pounding the zone with a fastball and curveball. The fastball sat 76-78 throughout his outing and with so much growing and filling out left in his game, we expect that number to continue trending upwards. He does a lot of things right on the mound and he’ll be one to follow in Ontario as he continues to develop.

2/28/22

Carmichael, 5-foot-11, 145-pounds, was the best young arm that threw last night at the Ontario Prospects workout. Carmichael sat 78-80 mph and topped at 81 mph with an effortless delivery. Carmichael pounds the zone and can throw his 66-68 mph CB for strikes, and an effective strikeout pitch. He had 2 K’s in 2 innings with the CB. As Carmichael fills out, there will be more in the tank. We look forward to watching him pitch in Florida at Spring Training.
