In the workout ahead of Friday night’s game, Stanley displayed tools that stood out from the rest of the group. Arm strength behind the dish, runs a sub 7.00 and hits balls hard. 6-foot-1, 180-pounds and the right-handed hitter put up quality at-bats throughout the entire night, picking up a base hit and a walk. A Future Gamer last summer who continues to learn how to utilize his tools in-game.

Stanley has added some strength and muscle over the summer, and can tell he has put the time in the gym. Now listed at 6-foot-1, 180-pounds, the right-handed hitting catcher looked the part and it showed up in his BP and on the track with his 60. The 2023 grad ran a 6.85 on an average track and was 92 off the tee in exit velo. He put multiple balls in the trees during BP, uses a leg kick to get into his backside with his hands set up and in a good hitting position with minimal load. The strength shows up in his bat speed with a different sound off the bat. Unable to throw on the day, Stanley left an impression on the offensive side and is one of the top 2023’s in the province to keep an eye on. Excited to follow the development here.
