9.9.17 - Hourahine, a young 2020 grad ran an easy and fluid 60 of 7.68 which should lower over time. At the plate, the right-handed hitter worked from an evenly balanced setup, weight transfers well and hands load back, good path to ball, room to extend further through contact will help him drive ball to gaps as well adding strength and maturing naturally, swing does show good fundamentals and approach. In the infield, took balls out front and middle of body, hands showed feel and softness while doing a good job of working through the baseball. Solid foundation for Hourahine moving forward and adding size and strength will be key role in his development.
