Henry, 6-foot 170 pounds, displayed all his tools at Prospects scout day. Has put on noticeable size since we last saw him. In the field the feet moved well, covered a lot of ground with his long legs, made some tough plays to his glove side. The swing was level, lots of barrels to the pull side with extension of the barrel.
2024 3B/RHP Markus Henry impressed with his size and arm strength he displayed at the New Year Open. Projectable frame that continues to inch towards 6-feet and the arm immediately stood out during defensive evaluations where he worked up to 85mph from the outfield. Lots to like on the mound, although it's still raw, but he'll to one to follow as he becomes more familiar with the mound. Sat 74-77mph with the fastball and posted a top exit velocity of 84mph. Lots to work with in his game with upside on both sides of the ball.
