7/8/15 6-foot, 200-pound body frame. From the crouch he does a good job of getting his feet turned, getting himself in line on his throws to second base. He throws with a clean, short arm action coming from a high ¾ slot reaching 74 mph on his throws that produced pop times between 2.07-2.14. From the infield he uses good footwork approaching ground balls and shows the ability to move well laterally. He fields the ball nicely, with his hands out in front of his body and has a quick release. Throws using a clean, short arm action coming from a lower ¾ slot and reached a top velocity of 77 mph.
11/1/14 Celidonia turned in an impressive round of batting practice from the left side of the plate, showcasing the ability to drive the baseball to both gaps. The junior starts from a slight crouch and uses loose hands to barrel the baseball to all fields while consistently staying inside the ball. Celidonia registered one of the top bat exit velocities of the event at 90 mph. The 6-foot, 185-pounder displayed pop times of 2.06-2.19 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch. Celidonia is working on making himself more versatile and showcased himself defensively at the hot corner. He fits the profile, while his footwork and lateral agility should improve with more reps.
