Physical: 5-foot-7, 150 pounds; Average, slender build. 7.43 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a short swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 79 MPH via Trackman. Displayed a high rotational acceleration with a good barrel percentage.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.1-2.2 pop times. C - 78 MPH. INF - 84 MPH. lightning quick transfer with accurate throws.

Physical: High-waisted 5-foot-6, 135lb frame with a strong lower-half. 7.61 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Taller, upright stance, as the hands start loose over the backside. Utilized a controlled leg-hang while holding onto the rear-hip, getting to a strong hitting position at impact through a slight uphill path. Full body effort that produced a T80 mph exit velocity and 78% line-drive rate via Trackman. Lower posture works from the ground-up in the box.

Defensively: The primary catcher featured an above-average defensive skill set, staying low under the ball in the catch-and-throw phase. Pop times ranged between 2.09-2.19 with a quick transfer to a H ¾ slot and 71 mph arm on the bag. Soft receiver as well

Physical: Lean frame at 5-foot-6, 135lbs with above-average feel. 7.67 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Wider, shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated in rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride while adjusting with a lower bottom half under the pitch. Really connected to the ground with some rotational elements, delivering the barrel through a flat path into the hitting zone. Posted a T79 mph exit during a pull-side approach. 

Defensively: The backstop demonstrated an easy feel from the crouch. Clean pocket awareness and advanced catch/throw skill set. Pop times worked down as low as 2.04 on the bag from a H ¾ slot. Also blocked well (71 mph arm strength).

7/28/21

Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-3, 120lb frame. 8.00 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Upright, shoulder-width stance with some rhythm in the hands pre-swing. Utilized a short toe-tap stride to stay connected to the ground, initiating the barrel through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Finished high by the head with two-hands promoting an accurate, line drive approach during his round (23% line drive rate, 46% fly ball rate via Trackman). Notched a T78 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak with singles power at the moment (additional power coming). Clean bat to ball skills with ability to mix and match planes in different zones. 

Defensively: The primary backstop displayed a compact left-knee down receive while working flexed to extended towards the catch. Pop times ranged from 2.39-2.45 as he got the hips/shoulders around to the target before releasing. Let the pitch come to him and made it game-like with moderate posture off the backside drive-leg (H ¾ slot, 66 mph arm, accurate).


6/22/21

Physical: 5-foot-3, 115 pounds; Lean, proportional build. 7.93 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a short swing path with a one-handed finish.  More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 68 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup;  while stays low while receiving. Hands work through the ball with a seamless transfer. Short take back  from a high/over the top arm slot. 2.30-2.40 pop times. C - 64 MPH.
