7/2115-7/22-15
+ 5-foot-6, 160-pound right-handed hitter. Started slightly open and strode to a square, wide base. Short path with some bat speed, eyes stayed level and used the middle of the field in BP. Picked up three hits in six at-bats in game action. Ran a 6.82 60-yard dash and 4.53 in-game home-to-1B time on a turn. Showcased 81-mph exit velocity and 85-mph arm strength during workout.
+ Pitched out of an over-the-top slot with a feel for sequencing his pitches. Fastball sat 80-82, while on this day (it has been the reverse in the past), he showed a better feel for his slider with short break at 70-72 than his bigger breaking 11/5 curveball (usually his money pitch) at 68-69.
6/17/15 5-foot-6, 160-pound right-handed hitter. Hits from a slightly open stance with controlled toe-tap. Short, compact swing with direct path to the baseball. Posted a 4.41 in-game home-to-1B time and a 4.50 on a turn. Showcased 86-mph arm strength in workout, played through ball well with feet, throws have carry.

6/17/15 Pounded the zone out of a high three-quarter slot and got downhill well, especially for someone of his stature (5-foot-6, 160-pounds). Worked fast, incorporating a fastball at 80-82 and showing a legitimate feel for spinning his solid curveball at 68-70 with 11/5 action.
2/15/15 Wacker features a quick arm, works fast, and stays on-line toward his target. Perhaps not unsurprising given his frame, he occasionally had some trouble getting downhill from the stretch with his fastball. However, on multiple occasions including this one, he has shown an ability to spin a quality breaking ball. The one he showed at this event had 11/5 tilt, while a previous 12/6 version clocked in at 66-71. He also showed a change-up that was firm with occasional sink.
2/14/15 Wacker starts from a slightly open stance and employs a toe-tap to get to square, with his hands in a good launch position. His body goes forward with his stride, he uses an inside-out approach, and cuts off his finish a bit. Defensively, Wacker (also a pitcher who spins a quality curveball) showed athletic feet and good direction toward his target when throwing.

11/1/14 Wacker has a simple, repeatable delivery and a quick arm that generated a fastball at 80-81 and a change-up at 71-73 with fade. Despite being undersized at 5-foot-6, 160-pounds, he has a chance to get swing-and-misses from his tight 12/6 curveball. He also showed a slider that had a tendency to blend into the same action as his curveball, but didn't have as sharp a break. Wacker showcased a high hands load and a toe tap load from the right-hand side of the plate. He wore out the middle of the field in a solid round of batting practice. Wacker ran a 7.06 60-yard dash and showed fluid actions defensively with 83 mph arm strength.
