PBR Mid-Atlantic Border Battle Preview - Game Two

The 2015 PBR Mid-Atlantic Border Battle will take place on July 21 and 22 at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland. 2015 marks the second year of this event. The inaugural Border Battle saw a total of 28 players that participated go on to make college commitments. To view last year's roster and where those players have committed, CLICK HERE.
Action kicks off today with batting practice for game one at 8:00am. First pitch for Game one will follow at 9:00am with prospects from the Grey and Red teams playing a nine inning game. For a preview of that game, CLICK HERE.
Game two between the Blue and White teams will begin at 1:00pm, with batting practice starting at Noon. Kyle Ebersole, who led Lancaster County Christian to the 2015 PIAA Class A state title, will throw the first pitch for the Blue team, followed by fellow 2016 RHPs Jonathan Davis and Nick Lehman. Eight ranked prospects will be among those providing run support for them: 2017 IF Bryce Hensor, 2016 OFs Isaac Neal & Charlie Warden, 2016 IFs Jimmy Farrow & Keith Flaherty, 2016 C Bryce Stout, 2017 OF Jordan Art, and 2017 C Tyler Peters.
Not to be outdone, the White team will feature nine prospects ranked in their respective classes: uber-toolsy 2016 OF Nico Popa, powerful left-handed hitting 2017 1B Jake Trautman, highly regarded 2017 IFs Nick Stoner and Christian Fedko, 2016 OFs Alex Peterson and Austin Wacker, 2016 IF Bayley Jamanis, 2017 IF Ryan McSorley, and 2016 C Joe Kroeger. In addition, slick-fielding 2017 IF Kris Kremer will assuredly join that group when our 2017 rankings are updated later this summer. On the mound, 2016 RHP Lawrence Kirk, along with RHPs Stoner, Kremer & Wacker, will show their stuff.
