7/20/16 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter only participated on day one due to college visits scheduled for the final day of the event. Starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing from a deep load position with a short lift-and-replace stride. Creates solid barrel whip (88 mph bat exit velocity) with a strong lower half turn and his hands work well through contact, especially to the pull side.
3/29/16 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter barreled the baseball in all four AB's including a sac fly, single and walk-off grand slam. Solid off-season has led to visible strength gains and change in physique. Showed solid actions around the first base bag defensively and made a solid throw across the diamond to cut down a runner in game action.
2/14/16 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash and posted 91-mph exit velocity. Started from a slightly open stance, rocked weight to backside, and strode to square. Tended to swing the bat with his shoulders, which created some length in his path and caused him to steer the ball to the opposite field and not fully tap into his power potential. Defensively, he exhibited solid actions and an accurate 78-mph arm.
11/7/15 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from an open stance and strides to slightly open. Deep launch point and low hands with upright barrel. Defensively, he exhibited solid actions accompanied by 78-mph arm strength.
