8/6/15 Fedko continues to show development and improvements in all facets of his game. The right-handed hitter flashed an 88 mph bat exit velocity from a more controlled launch point with above average barrel whip. Fedko ran an improved 7.28 60-yard dash and displayed a solid glove hand with advanced arm strength (86 mph) across the diamond. The rising junior showcased his skills behind the dish for the first time and his arm strength translated to pop times of 1.98-2.05 on throws of 76 mph from the crouch. Like most prospects new to the position, Fedko shows a tendency to leave his squat early but displayed the athleticism to make the move successful with hard work.
11/1/14 Fedko showed solid feet and hands, plus good arm strength from an over-the-top slot, while gaining ground well toward his target. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder employs a big back-to-front leg kick to take himself from open and narrow to square and wide. A barrel wrap necessitates some length in his swing, but he has bat speed and stays through contact well. He attacks the baseball and has a chance to hit for some pop (exit velo has been up to 84-mph in the past).
6/18/14 Fedko gets every ounce out of his 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame. He has a high-energy approach to the game and has worked hard to improve arm strength in the past years' time. Fedko's 7.52 60-yard dash time probably will relegate him to a corner infield position, but his leg-lift approach at the plate and his attacking approach in everything he does on the field stand out. Fedko squared everything up in BP with an 84 mph bat exit velocity. He went on to go 2-for-5 in game play, beating out two infield singles as a result of getting out of the box hard and getting down the line with a purpose. Fedko showcased an 81 mph arm across the diamond, much improved in the past year, and strong enough to stay on that side of the infield at the next level. He has a tendency to play the baseball deep leading to stiffness in his glove hand, but was able to make plays on the move in evaluations and during game play.
11/2/13 Fedko has yet to play a high school game, but shows the skills to be a highly ranked prospect in this class. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound freshman showed capable glove work and an improving arm with throws of 75 mph across the diamond. Fedko hits from an open stance and incorporates a leg lift load to generate a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. The right-handed hitter displayed the ability to use all fields and the potential for some gap power. He has a lot going on in the load phase of his swing, but has shown the ability to get his front foot down and be to the hitting zone on time at several PBR events recently.
8/18/13 Fedko served notice that he will be among the ranked players in this class when the first round of rankings are released in June of 2014. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitter uses a leg lift trigger and an explosive lower half to create barrel whip. Fedko showcased a bat exit velocity of 79 mph and went 3-for-6 in game action on the weekend. He will need to continue to develop arm strength and work on his footwork to elevate himself into an elite prospect in this class, but showed the raw tools necessary to become a highly recruited player.
8/20/19: Slashed .271/.352/.364 with limited pop but solid feel for the barrel. Working with a high leg lift, Fedko produced hard contact when squaring the ball up but could have his timing disrupted with quality off-speed stuff. Fedko profiles as a Day Three target but could grow his value if he can show a steadier glove and a little more impact potential with the stick. (Faleris)
