Physical: Projectable, high-waisted 6-foot, 180lb frame with athleticism/feel for the body in all phases. 6.99 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, loose operation at shoulder-width with a slight bend in the knees as the hands showed off rhythm pre-swing. Utilized a gradual leg hang, connecting to the ground on time and initiating through a leveraged, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Found success staying tilted over the backside with tight, trusted turns yielding big time juice to the pull-side during batting practice. Strong lower half tendencies producing tangible bat-speed (near 70 mph via Blast Motion) adding a T92 mph bat-exit velocity on his best swing for extra-bases to LCF. A 60% fly ball rate (via Trackman) points towards loft in the approach with room for more.
Defensively: The third baseman featured lengthy footwork, working right to left at the fielding window from a wide, low postured position. A soft glove hand funneled semi-smoothly with a glove tap before releasing from a ¾ slot with good length on the takeaway, extension out front (80 mph arm).
