7/15/20

Physical: Solidly built 6-foot, 170-pound frame with advanced feel for his body and athleticism throughout. 6.94 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Wide, even stance with a bend in the knees as the hands start straight up in front of the shoulder. Utilized a sudden leg lift-stride to initiate a quick twitch, short and flat barrel path into the hitting zone with lift after contact. Very quick hands at the plate with ability to let the ball travel and explode with authority upon launch, the barrel gets slotted early from a position below the shoulder. Showcased a pull-side approach during batting practice with well above-average feel for the barrel. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 90 mph according to Trackman Baseball.

Defensively: The primary first shortstop featured adequate footwork with a wide and low setup, fielded with moderate downhill momentum through the fielding window, medium-high body posture after fielding off of the left side of his body, short / high ¾ arm-slot across the diamond with accuracy, made the play on the run with ease, feel for transfers. INF - 76 mph.

6/20/19

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitter starts from a closed stance and initiates his swing with a quick, leg-lift stride. Showcased a feel for the barrel and a short swing path while registering a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash and active feet defensively with accurate 81 mph arm strength across the diamond.
