Notes

Comments

2/12/23

Physical: Large, athletic 6-foot-2, 205lb frame. 6.89 runner in the 60YD.

Offensively: LHH. Taller, relaxed stance, as the barrel points upwards off the rear shoulder. Utilized a short leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill, controlled path into the hitting zone. Feel to decelerate while rolling the ankle on finish, producing hard pull-side barrels to RF. Recorded a T100MPH exit velo at 393FT; one of winners from the event.

Defensively: The primary outfielder featured present tools and body control in space. Rangy mover to either side and fielded off his right, unleashing a loud 93MPH throwing arm from his position.

2/20/22

Physical: Pro-style 6-foot-1, 195lb frame with athleticism present. 6.88 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Tooled up with a quiet, wider stance that really connects to the ground. The hands started at the shoulder allowing a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path into the hitting zone. One of the top rounds of the event with some barrel-whip while living on the sweet spot. Able to generate loud contact towards the RCF gap when getting the head extended. Worked into a firm front-side at T97 mph bat-exit velocity (wood) and recorded a 349 foot distance.

Defensively: The primary outfielder flashed significant arm-talent, gaining momentum downhill before using a full arm-circle to whip the ball up to 94 mph from his position. Accurate thrower that carries actions to the mound and can handle any of the three OF spots.

6/20/20

Young left-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Gets on plane early and showed advanced feel for barrel with present gap power. Athletic frame has room and time to fill out with additional power likely in the future.
