Florida Gulf Coast commit. 6-foot, 160-pound lefty continues to develop physically and long frame appears to still have considerable room to develop. Velocity continues to climb incrementally as well. The left throws four pitches from three arm slots and commands each with a purpose. Does not throw anything that is straight and maintains fluid rhythm with balance throughout regardless of the arm slot. Fastball sat 86-88 on this date with arm-side run of varying degrees depending on the arm slot. Curveball has above average depth from each slot sitting 72-73 with varying shapes depending on the release point. Changeup is thrown with excellent arm speed and shows significant arm-side fade.

6-foot, 160-pound lefty is just beginning to fill out into his mature frame. The member of Team Pennsylvania's 14U roster at the 2018 PBR Junior Future Games impressed sitting 80-84 from three different arm slots. Kriebel changes effortlessly without losing his feel or command from high 3/4, to low 3/4, to sidearm and showed the same ability in game action last August. All three fastballs show significant arm-side run with the two lower slots also producing above average sink. Kriebel throws a pair of breaking balls from each slot as well with his curveball sitting 70-71 and his slider sitting 70-73. His shows advanced feel for a nasty changeup at 76-77 which has both arm-side run and sink. Kriebel's current mix of pitches and arm angles make him one of the most interesting follows in this class. As he continues to mature physically additional velocity should follow.
10/20/18
Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 155 pounds on a lean, projectable frame. Loose, quick arm out of the 3/4 slot. Fastball mostly sat 79-81 mph, touching 82 with run that jumps on the batter. Also mixed in a mid 70s changeup along with a curveball that showed depth at 64-66 mph. Showed a good command of the zone and threw strikes, working ahead. Young projectable lefty that should see several jumps in velocity as he matures.
1/06/18
On the mound Kriebel works out of multiple arm angles including low 3/4 and sidearm. There is balance, rhythm and repeatability to delivery. Arm action is long, loose and free. FB sat 73-76 mph with late arm side run. CB at 60-63 mph showed 11-7 shape with short, late break as well as at times a slower sweeping action. CH at 68 mph was thrown with excellent sell and late sink. Kriebel was able to command all offerings to both sides of plate.
Defensively, actions are athletic with good range and solid footwork around the bag. Hands are above average. There is tendency to play ball deep. Frame and skill set suggest potential for development into solid defensive first baseman.
