Notes

Comments

6/13/23

Physical: 5-7, 160 pounds; Athletic, slight build. 6.97 runner in the 60.

Offensively: Switch hitter. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a a finish around the back.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of R87/L86 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.

2/14/21

Physically: 5’5 145 lb MIF ran a 7.43 laser timed 60 yard dash. Small stature but has room to grow and add strength.

Offensively: Starts pretty square in the batter's box, he uses a slow toe tap/leg swing to get his timing mechanism started. Barrel works uphill with a smooth barrel path. Swing plays long but stays through the zone.

Defensively: Active feet when approaching the ball, he catches in front of his body and funnels up to the center of his body. Arm works short and close to the body.

12/28/19

5-foot-2, 125-pound right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and initiates his swing with a short, leg-hang stride. Displayed above average balance with solid feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 70 mph and ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Showcased developing defensive skills with accurate 61 mph arm strength across the diamond.
