Physical: 6-4, 210 pounds; Muscular, sturdy build. 7.15 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet narrow; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a late one hand finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 100 MPH via Trackman. Physicality in the box with power potential to all parts of the field.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; static during pre-pitch while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 82 MPH.

2/18/23

Physical: 6-foot-4, 190 pounds; Long, slight build. 7.42 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman. Uses the body well to create good leverage to consistently hit the ball hard. Showed off some pull side pop.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; static during pre-pitch while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot.   OF - 80 MPH.

2/12/22

Physical: 6-foot-4, 185 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.21 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 99 MPH via Trackman. Swing will play in game, does not out swing his frame.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while being aggressive. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.

2/07/21

Physical: Long, projectable 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame with athleticism in the movements. 7.38 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Upright, open stance with the barrel pointed upwards, utilized a leg hang stride in order to initiate the hands through a twitchy, flat path and into the hitting zone. Stayed behind the baseball at impact with great posture in the legs, recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 86 mph generating a 36% fly ball rate to the pull-side. The hand speed (26.4 mph) transferred over efficiently to above-average bat speed (73 mph average) pointing towards additional power on the way soon.

Defensively: The primary outfielder approached the ball with confidence in the glove hand and timing at the fielding window. Stayed moderately low fielding off of his left foot with smooth transfers and an accurate throwing arm out of a short, high ¾ slot. Up to 76 mph from his position with room for more.
