8/17/17 6-foot, 215-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and uses a quiet, lift-and-replace stride to initiate his lower half. Repeatedly gets to a solid load position and creates barrel whip with a strong hip turn. Registered an 85 mph bat exit velocity and barreled baseball consistently during a solid round of batting practice. Uncommitted senior displayed capable defensive action at both corner infield positions with 79 mph arm strength across the diamond and ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. Uncommitted senior has returned from an injury earlier in the year and is near 100%, having shown a 91 mph bat exit velocity at a previous PBR event prior to the injury.
7/8/17 6-foot, 215-pound corner infielder displayed above average abilities at both positions with a chance to play both at the next level. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance displayed balance throughout his swing with above average barrel whip (85 mph bat exit velocity). Showcased the potential for some power in his batting practice round and drove a ball to the gap for a triple in game action.
5/1/17 5-foot-11, 215-pound right-handed hitting third baseman reached base four times on this day with a hard hit single through left side and three walks. Keene demonstrates significant bat speed with pull side power. At times there is some top half drift compromising ability to stay short and get through ball on inner half. Arm strength plays on left side of infield.
10/29/16 Physical, 5-foot-11, 215-pound right-handed hitter. Hits from a square stance and holds bat at a good launch angle. 91 mph exit velocity indicates power potential, and there is likely more in there. Currently swings mostly with his top half, as he gets his weight into his front side early, limiting his ability to incorporate his back side into his swing. Showed solid footwork defensively and threw out of an over-the-top arm slot with 79 mph arm strength that has some carry. He ran a 7.65 60-yard dash.
9/11/16 5-foot-11, 215-pound right-handed hitter looked more comfortable and showcased improved across-the-board measurables on this date. Showcased a 91 mph bat exit velocity and present power to the pull side with strong lower half action to a repeatable swing. Moved well laterally during defensive evaluations and displayed solid carry on throws of 79 mph across the diamond from third base.
