Physical: 6-foot-2, 220 pounds; Sturdy, muscular build.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 81-83 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 68-69 MPH; late action. CH: 74-75 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Large and imposing 6-foot, 185-pound frame with some strength found in the lower half.
Pitching: RHP - Starts from the stretch only in the middle of the rubber with an above-average leg lift at the top of the stack, follows the leg drive with early body direction as he races down the mound. Gets forward and out in front at release allowing for 77-79 mph FB’s to pepper the bottom of the zone from a low release height (4.83 feet average). Mixed in great feel for a 64-66 mph SL which flashed the makings of an out-pitch at the next level (15.2 inches of average horizontal movement). Interesting makeup on the mound with room to keep developing.
