(20.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a tall narrow stance with a quick load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is efficient, has a short swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 79 mph; has sure consistent hands, a quick exchange, and consistent smooth feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. Recorded a time of 7.35 in the 60-yard dash. Smooth capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a side arm angle and a longer arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Has an athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands open with recoil finish. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph; had feel control and running action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2075; Avg 1976).
