2/12/17 6-foot-2, 175-pound lefty has a long, projectable frame with room for 20-30 more pounds of good weight. Sat 80-83 from a 3/4 to high 3/4 arm slot with natural cut to his fastball. Worked solely from the stretch with some head wag at release while staying directional to the plate. Curveball showed 1/7 rotation with occasional two-plane action at 69-71. Also commanded a 74 mph splitter and a changeup at 71-73.

2/12/17 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way prospect has an athletic, projectable frame that is far from finished developing. Switch-hitter shows similar swing mechanics from both sides of the plate beginning from a square stance while utilizing a leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Barreled baseballs with back spin from both sides with a 90 mph bat exit velocity. More complete swing from right side currently while he showed difficulties getting off his back leg in his left-hand swing. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash and athletic actions defensively with 84 mph arm strength across the diamond from first base.

1/24/15 Breznak flashed projectable size at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds and an advanced skill set. The lefty impressed on the mound sitting 74-76 from a 3/4 arm slot with good tempo and arm side run to his fastball. Breznak also flashed two high school ready pitches in a 65 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed and a 67 mph curveball with tight 1/7 rotation. The 8th grader throws entirely from the stretch and uses a high knee delivery to hide the ball well.

Breznak showed athletic actions around the first base bag with an accurate 79 mph arm across the diamond. He also showed well defensively in the outfield.

The switch-hitter flashed a 75 mph bat exit velocity from the right-side of the plate with good rhythm to his swing. Breznak barreled the baseball routinely with no stride from a square stance. His left-handed swing is a bit longer with similar swing mechanics. Although he has a tendency to drag the barrel from his non-dominant side he does show greater lift and some power potential.
