9/8/13 Lorenz stood out among the corner infielders during weekend three. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound infielder showcased a strong arm across the diamond (79 mph) and good footwork at 3B. Lorenz went 2-for-3 in game action and had a very solid round of batting practice at Misericordia University. He displayed the ability to use all fields and an 86 mph bat exit velocity in barreling the baseball consistently with some pop.
8/25/13 Lorenz is an athletic 6-foot-1, 185-pound righty that sat 81-83 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The two-way prospect also showcased command of a 73 mph 11/5 breaking curveball. Lorenz is a sleeper in this class, having not thrown from the mound since May.
