Physical: XL 6-foot-4, 230-pound frame with some deception down the mound.
Pitching: LHP. Begins off the far right side of the rubber; shallow leg-lift that generated big horizontal movement to the dead zone. Pitched out of a H ¾ slot with a SNK/SL profile, up to 84MPH at 2224 rpms. Extended on the finish and showed a hard fall to third base. Mixed a sweeping mid-70’s SL for Ks. Longer arm-swing with ceiling left.
Physical: 6-4, 240 pounds; Long, Sturdy build. 8.53 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 83 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 76-81 MPH; arm side run. SL: 68-74 MPH; slurve like.
