Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame with room to add strength as he matures. 7.29 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, slightly open setup with the hands rocking slightly out in front of the shoulder by the ear. Utilized a controlled leg-hang stride with stretch in a backwards launch to initiate a twitchy, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Worked hard through contact with a strong top hand and displayed quick rotational power to the pull-side gap during batting practice. Hit into a stiff front side while registering a 94 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The middle infielder played with a low center of gravity featuring a quick first step and feel for above-average lateral movements. Demonstrated solid posture through the fielding window with downhill momentum allowing an accurate throwing arm to work out of a high ¾ arm-slot with some length in the takeaway. Made the play on the run with relative ease showing off present athleticism in the actions and ability to throw from multiple arm angles; projects better as a second baseman at the moment. Showcased fluid, athletic actions while playing through the baseball defensively with effortless 79 mph arm strength across the diamond. Well rounded skill set will continue to develop through strength gains.
