Physical: 5-foot-8, 140 pounds; Long, proportional build. 7.2 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 79 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while sitting back. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-8, 140-pound frame with feel for his body. 7.31 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly bent stance with loose hands above the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride with the knee facing inward early as the barrel worked through a slight uphill attack angle at impact. Generated a 40% line drive rate mostly towards the middle of the field where he peppered both gaps with consistency. Showed sink into the lower half with nice adjustability at the plate; recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 82 mph per Trackman Baseball, while having the ability to tap into a big power ceiling down the line (22.4 G’s of rotational acceleration).
Defensively: The primary outfielder flashed feel for the feet, staying behind certain balls hit with in-between hops, fielded off of the left side of his body as a soft glove hand worked with confidence through the baseball; accurate 78 mph arm strength towards the target with room for more as he continues adding strength.
Featured a lean and athletic 5-foot-7, 130-pound frame with feel for his body and room to fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, balanced stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Tight hands to the shoulder generated a flat barrel path through the hitting zone with short, repeatable actions yielding a 72 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice. Showcased feel for the hands with ability to spray line drives to all fields. Recorded a 7.18 60-yard dash that should only continue improving with added strength on his frame. The primary outfielder showed off adequate footwork creating active momentum towards the target. Soft hands and smooth transfers allowed for accurate throws from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
5-foot-7, 130-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a line drive, middle of the field approach with a short swing path. Registered a bat exit velocity of 72 mph and ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Displayed fundamental actions defensively while routinely playing through the baseball with 75 mph arm strength to home plate.
