9/28/14 Wickard topped at 84 mph from a high 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot, 170-pound junior sat 82-83 with cut action to his fastball while also flashing a developing two-seamer that has arm side run at 79 mph. Wickard also commanded a 70 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 71 mph changeup at near fastball arm speed while striking out four.

7/20/14 Wickard sat 79-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot with some hip coil to his delivery. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound righty allowed two runs over four innings of work while registering one strikeout and retired six batters on ground balls. Wickard also commanded a 68 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 69 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed. The changeup is still developing but has a chance to be a very solid second pitch for the junior.

6/25/14 Wickard worked three innings in game action giving up just two hits while sitting 82-83 from a high 3/4 arm slot. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound junior also commanded a 69 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 73 mph changeup with near fastball arm speed. Wickard has repeatable mechanics and showed the ability to pound the strike zone routinely.

11/2/13 Wickard sat 81-82 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. He rotates his body to show his numerals to the hitter out of the windup and develops some arm side run on his fastball as a result. Wickard also commanded a 69 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 73 mph changeup. The changeup is thrown at near fastball arm speed and has similar run as his fastball. Wickard has a developed 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame and has shown a 2-3 mph spike in velocity in the past four months.

9/22/13 Wickard topped at 79 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound righty shows the numerals on his back out of the wind up leading to some arm side run and sink to the fastball. He also displayed a 64 mph curveball that had a bit of a slurvy 10/4 breaking action. Wickard went three innings allowing three runs on three hits with four strikeouts.

6/19/13 Wickard sat 78-80 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with command of his four seam fastball. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound righty also commanded a 11/5 breaking curveball at 70 mph and a 69 mph changeup. Wickard's changeup was thrown at near fastball arm speed and showed some late run. He commanded the strike zone and threw all three pitches for strikes consistently.
