2/07/21

Physical: Tall and uber-projectable 6-foot-5, 160-pound frame with developing athleticism on the bump.

Pitching: RHP - The righty started from the middle of the rubber with noticeable height, above-average pace to the delivery while getting to a nice and balanced position at the top of the stack. Methodical drive out using good backside leg push off the rubber. Increased feel for his arsenal working the FB over the plate from 74-75 mph at a 50% rate per Trackman Baseball; mixed in a 63-65 mph CB with additional command (100% zone rate) while showcasing late bite at the plate. Dropped in a 71 mph CH with near fastball arm speed, getting up to 13.1 inches of HM.

2/23/20

Demonstrated feel for a long and lean 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame with athleticism in his movements. The primary right-handed pitcher sat 73-75 mph out of a high ¾ arm-slot utilizing a raw, up-tempo windup with occasional front-side drift. Mixed in a quality 58-59 mph curveball showing 11/5 bite with two-plane action when released out in front. Countered with a 61-64 mph changeup flashing occasional arm-side fade. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased quick twitch actions with some length in the swing allowing for a 73 mph bat-exit velocity with occasional pull-side lift during batting practice. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. The shortstop featured average footwork while bending at the waist during setup coupled with a moderately high center of gravity. Long strides yielded length in the movements and range to both sides allowing a soft glove hand to work through the ball. Recorded an accurate 74 mph arm-strength across the infield out of a high ¾ arm-slot with ability to throw from different arm-slots on the run.
