Physical: Athletic 6-foot-1, 175lb frame with sneaky strength and high upside. 7.10 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH - Upright, shoulder-width stance, as the barrel pointed knob-towards-catcher. Utilized a forward lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Two-handed finish on the backside, good lower-half rotation, and slots the barrel efficiently to create good bat-speed at the plate. Recorded a T93 mph bat-exit velocity (355 foot distance) living on the sweet-spot at a 79% clip. Adjusted to pitches in any quadrant and hammered the inner-half during a RCF approach. 

Defensively: The outfielder created natural reads off the bat and worked confidently out in front with attacking play, fielding off of his left side. Started a buzz with a 96 mph arm-strength during defensive evaluations (H ¾ slot, carry, accurate). 

Pitching: RHP - Set up off the middle of the rubber using lightning-quick pace and a compact delivery. Solid separation at footstrike and unwinds towards the mitt from H ¾ slot with a fast arm/body control. The FB landed at 90-91 mph with live action to the top of the zone from a low 5.2 foot release height. Mixed a sharp/sweeping 72-74 mph CB with big depth on an 11/5 tilt and countered with a much improved 80-82 mph CH, fading to the arm-side.

Physical: Athletic, proportional 6-foot-1, 175lb frame with good proportions. South Carolina commit ran a 7.27 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Balanced, shoulder-width stance as the hands started slotted at the shoulder. Utilized a directional lift and replace stride towards the pitcher, initiating the bat head through a flat, quick/twitchy path into the hitting zone. Able to command both sides of the plate in the approach with clean movements in the swing while working into a stiff front side. Lifted the ball consistently to the middle/pull-side of the field while staying on the rear hip, matching pitch-plane for good bat to ball skills. Recorded a T91 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman) for doubles power and more when hitting it flush at the front of the plate. 

Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber using quicker tempo and pace to gain a balanced stack position at the top; moved down the slope with separation and athleticism into footstrike as a quick, efficient H ¾ release jumped at hitters (T2354rpms via Trackman) on an 88-90 mph FB for swing/miss up in the zone. Tunneled a tight, biting 70-72 mph CB with hard two-plane shape and ability to manipulate for different looks in any count (command, 11/5 tilt mostly).

Physical: Recent South Carolina commit stands an athletic, projectable 6-foot-1, 175lbs with good flexibility, feel for his body. 7.09 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: LHH - Even stance with the hands operating calmly above the shoulder at a 45 degree angle. Utilized a slight barrel tip on time with a lift and replace stride, initiating through a flat, twitchy path into the hitting zone. Very smooth mover in space, allowing for a mature approach and hard contact sprayed from gap to gap during his batting practice round. Above-average bat to ball skills, and ambushed FB’s in advantage counts. Posted a T90 mph bat-exit velocity at a 43% fly ball rate, pointing towards some loft to CF when staying on the baseball. A near 340 foot batted ball distance hints at extra-base hit juice available. 

Defensively: The outfielder flashed centerfield tendencies, trusting a soft glove hand and sharp routes to get downhill thru the baseball. Tracked the ball well and was able to create range to his left, planting and getting momentum at release through H ¾ (94 mph arm, carry, plus). Arm-action carries to the mound with length and lots of life.

Pitching: RHP - Primary starter, working off the far left side of the rubber with consistent pace and tempo down the slope into footstrike. Smooth and stays within himself, bumping up late out in front on a fluid, H ¾ arm-swing. Found success riding the ball above the belt at 85-87, T88 mph, missing barrels for K’s and good spin. Mixed a sharp, two-plane 67-69 mph CB with wipeout actions up to T23 inches of HM and -16 inches depth at its peak, later adding a quality 75-77 mph CH with good sell and short fade at 1420rpms. Future power arm as he further adds strength.

Physical: Above-average athlete in a 6-foot, 175-pound frame with feel for the actions in all phases of the game. 7.26 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: LHH - Additional feel at the plate, though he shines first and foremost on the mound. The lefty started from a tall, narrow stance with the hands strictly at the shoulder with the barrel pointing above the head at a 45 degree angle. Utilized a short lift and replace stride in order to initiate the barrel through a slight uphill attack angle and into the hitting zone. Stayed behind the ball well with advanced feel for the hands evidenced by a 55% line drive rate during his BP round. Easy effort yielding a peak bat exit velocity of 88 mph per Trackman Baseball; a 24.4 mph hand speed stands out amongst his peers. 

Defensively: The outfielder flashed fluid movements in space with ability to get out and around the baseball, soft glove hand presenting it early off the left foot, funneled into the belt line with nice transfers from glove to throwing hand. Whippy, high ¾ slot with reach on the release generating noticeable carry (90 mph) towards the target. 

Pitching: RHP - Legitimate chance to be successful on the bump; the righty started from the middle-left side of the mound with a slight pause at the side rocker giving way to an up tempo leg lift and drive outward towards the plate, the arm exploded extremely quick at footstrike allowing for an 86-88 mph FB with high spin (2400+ RPM’s) paired with noticeable IVB/ride (19.8 inches). Dropped in a beautiful 70 mph breaker with advanced sweep across the plate (17.7 inches of HM) and countered with a 76-78 mph CH with occasional fade. Going to have high strikeout capabilities pitching off of the FB-CB combo primarily.

Physical: Lean / athletic 6-foot, 165-pound frame with some projectability / high level athleticism in the actions. 

Pitching: RHP - Deep side rocker step from the middle-left side of the rubber, moderate pace throughout the delivery with a medium leg lift at the top of the stack, sits into a strong backside before driving out towards the plate, landed in-line / directional with high posture in the body, high ¾ release with quickness in the arm. FB ranged from 82-84 T86 mph with an upwards of 2446 spin per Trackman Baseball… the FB lived above the belt generating swing and miss with two strikes and paired well with a sharp 68-70 mph CB showing 11/5 shape out of the same window and 2106 rpms of spin. Could change eye levels at will and dropped in a quality third pitch for strikes as well; a low spin 71-72 mph CH with slight arm-side fade on occasion. 

Physical: Lean, athletic 6-foot, 160-pound frame with room to fill out as he matures and plenty of quickness in the actions. 7.38 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: LHH. Tall open stance with a high back elbow and hands at the shoulder. Utilized a controlled leg-hang coupled with a slight backwards move in the load to initiate his swing. Demonstrated feel for the barrel entering the zone in a slightly uphill path through contact point. Fluid stroke that played well in-game generating multiple hits at the PA State Games. Strong top hand to the baseball while hitting into a stiff front side allowing for an 89 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The outfielder displayed advanced footwork with a feel for multiple routes to the baseball. Can cover either gap drop stepping well to both sides and can go and get it in the air for his pitchers. The arm strength stood out with accuracy towards the target through a high ¾ slot with fluidity and length on the front side. OF - 89 mph

Pitching: RHP - Quality pace on the mound, deliberate arm swing with athleticism in the back and fluidity in the front through a high ¾ slot. FB worked into the zone at 84-86 mph and mixed in a sharp 67-68 mph CB showing 11/5 shape with swing and miss. Also featured feel for a 75-76 mph CH displaying occasional arm-side fade.

The primary right-handed pitcher demonstrated a long and lean 6-foot, 160-pound frame with athleticism and explosiveness out of a slow-tempoed, repeatable setup utilizing a lightning quick, high ¾ arm-slot. Sat 81-84 mph with life up in the zone and occasional small arm-side run. Mixed in a 65-68 mph curveball with feel for spin showing 11/5 shape. Countered with a decent 74-76 mph changeup thrown with advanced sell and featuring occasional natural cut. Commanded two and sometimes three pitches in the zone which should create tough at-bats against. The Freshman right-handed pitcher should be an interesting follow in the 2023 class with advanced fluidity and athleticism in the arm-swing allowing for a very high ceiling.
