Defensively: The primary shortstop displayed rangy movements in either direction from a lower posture, able to play under the ball at the fielding window. Gathered off the middle of his body, creating life across the dirt at 81 mph. Made all the plays look relatively easy.

Began in a balanced athletic stance with a slow controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has an upward swing plane and developing bat speed. Athletic while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 69 mph; showed a clean exchange, athletic consistent feet, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Clocked a time of 7.61 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a long arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed a consistent balance point. Shows running action. (Max spin 1862; Avg 1789). Shows gradual action on his 11/5 curveball.
