6-foot-1, 195-pound utilityman is a bat first prospect with an athletic, lean frame. Listed as SS but Griggs has done a little bit of everything over the years and can provide depth in the infield, outfield or at catcher. Tall, balanced stance with quiet hands and big leg kick generating great bat speed (T 75.7 mph) and well sequenced rotation (T 27.2 G; Avg: 24.2 G). Great ball striker with consistent barrels and plenty of loud contact to the power alleys (T 100.3 mph; Avg: 93.5 mph). Defensively, light, bouncy feet and good athleticism as an outfielder with solid arm strength (83 OF Velo) and logged a 7.10 sixty time. Behind the plate, solid all around with average arm strength and decent accuracy on throwdowns, consistently popping just north of 2.00. Shown to be a solid SS, but tools set are more aligned as an OF to get his big bat in the order.

6-foot-1, 185-pound C/utilityman is a bat first prospect with an athletic, lean frame and can provide depth in the infield, outfield, or behind the dish. Intriguing to see how it plays out, but Griggs bat is his ticket and he has the skill set to settle as a left side infielder or corner outfielder.

OF/C, (2022) Marshall County, TN. 6-foot-1, 180-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 91 mph. Begins in a crouched stance with a small compact load, then uses a toe tap to start his swing. Bat speed is quick, exhibits uphill rotational swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Average in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 77 mph; shows sure hands, smooth feet and a packing exchange. Using a loose arm action, showed decent accuracy to the bag from a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.25 in the 60-yard dash.

5-10, 165-pound catcher shows intriguing present bat speed for a young player. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, super projectable, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential. Offensively, hits w/ a very slightly closed, upright stance w/ short hand rhythm into knee to knee leg kick and proper load. Learning to repeat the same swing every time, keep his lower half through the baseball. When on time, shows intriguing offensive upside w/ easy bat-speed and some natural loft. LD’s to all fields at this stage of his development, would expect power to come as he develops frame-wise, learns to repeat his swing. As a receiver, needs to present a target to help his pitcher, just sits ready to receive with a closed glove. Developing catcher, gets small behind the plate, but stance does not allow being agile to move and frame or box. Strength to receive, just needs reps. As a thrower, learning to get out of the crouch quickly w/ solid footwork, projectable carry to target arm strength.
5-10, 165-pound righty shows projectable frame and intriguing present FB velocity, but may profile best as a position player. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, super projectable, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential. Pitches from a full wind-up into ¾ to H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber. Lower half just along for the ride, learning to use it consistently, drive to the plate. Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run. Slows arm down on secondary pitches, guides the CB, gets loose. Straight CH. Around the zone.
