05.18.17 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound, wiry, fast-twitch frame. Stephenson has electric speed, posting sub-4-second times to first base on multiple occasions this spring. The left handed hitter roped a triple in his first at-bat to the left-center gap, showing he has the ability to drive the ball with some authority, finishing the barrel with his top hand. He ran a 4.09 on a full swing to first base, and a 3.75 on a base hit drag bunt.

05.05.17 - Wichita State recruit. 6-foot-1, 170-pound, lean, wiry, athletic, projectable frame. Stephenson is one of the more exciting players to watch in the metroplex with regard to his speed and athleticism. The centerfielder tracked down a would-be line drive double in opposite field gap, running with an easy, long stride. Offensively, the left-handed hitter was 2-for-4 with two singles, one of which was a slash base hit in the six hole, the other a drag bunt where he ran a 3.8-second time to first. Although Stephenson does not possess a ton of power right now, he does have a strong top hand at contact and finishes the barrel. He will be a fun player to follow during the playoffs and into the summer.

03.31.17 - Wichita State recruit. 6-foot-1, 170-pound, lean, wiry, athletic, projectable frame. The left-handed hitting Stephenson had two quality at- bats on Friday with a line-drive to right field and a base hit on a drag bunt down the third base line where he ran a 3.64-second time to first. The junior is an all around athlete with projectable tools and plenty of room to add strength in the next few years.

03.14.17 - Wichita State recruit. Estimated 6-foot-1, 170-pound, lean, projectable, athletic frame. Stephenson caught our eye during I/O with athletic transitions strong throws from centerfield. The left-handed throwing, long-limbed outfielder has rhythm through the ball and an accurate arm. Offensively, the left-handed hitter was 1-for-3 in the two hole for Carroll High. He had a base hit in the six hole and ran a 4.26-second home-to-first time.
