Ozmer was impressive during BP as the right-handed hitter showed off fast-strong hands that generate the type of bat speed (93 mph) that will draw the attention of college recruiters. Smooth actions with natural feel for the left side of the infield. Arm works well from different slots and he can play on the run. Projectable offensive infielder. Recently committed to Penn.

Ozmer has a strong, athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds, and will be a fun two-way player to follow this year. Positionally, he projects as a power hitting infielder, as he showed a quality hack with juice during batting practice (94 Exit Velo). Starting from a tall, open stance, Ozmer pushes back smooth using a reverse leg lift as his hands trigger back. Lands slightly close with good energy in his lower half as he transfers his weight through contact with leverage. Compact path allows him to generate quality bat speed as the barrel works through the zone with slight lift and a short finish. Ball jumps off his bat with gap power and more likely to come. He smoked a single into the right-centerfield gap on a first pitch fastball during the game. On the infield, Ozmer plays through the ball with rhythm and quick footwork, his hands work really well with a fluid exchange and the ability to throw from different slots without hesitation. Highly accurate arm across the infield with a top velocity of 83 mph. On the mound, the right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a medium arm swing, regular effort, and a tall-and-fall delivery.  His fastball has good sink at the bottom of the zone as he turns it over at release, ranging from 84-87 mph. His breaking ball has short, late break and varies in shape between 11/5 and 10/4 at 73-75 mph.

6-foot-1, 175-pound projectable athletic frame.  At the plate, Ozmer hits from the right side with some pop (89 mph exit velo off the tee) in an athletic stance with some rhythm in his body.  He has excellent balance and barrel control with a smooth load back with his body and gets separation in his hands in the load. He uses a low smooth leg kick to shift his weight back and then through the baseball and gets good extension through the hitting zone with his barrel.  He drove balls to both gaps in batting practice. In the infield he has athletic actions, was 81 mph across the infield with carry and accuracy. He works around the baseball and plays through the ball with his momentum working in-line to first base. He has a clean and quick transfer to release, and has some swagger in his actions.  Ozmer ran a 7.44 laser-timed 60. Off the mound, he repeated his delivery with the same arm speed on all of his 3 pitch types, and works from a high balance point with a fluid motion. His fastball was 84-86 with a short over-the-top arm action. His slider was 70 mph, and his changeup was 77 mph. Ozmer is a well-rounded player, and has an exciting tool set.
