Took quite an impressive round of BP on the day and showed glimpses of who he can become down the road. Also hopped on the mound on the day topping out at 85 and filling up the zone challenging hitters.
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-foot-3, 195 pounds.
Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, controlled and consistent tempo throughout, consistent release point at times, finishes off to 1B side at times.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, high ¾ slot.
FB: 83-85 mph. Lots of strikes to all four quadrants.
CB: 63-64 mph. Flashed strikes to the glove-side, flashed true curveball shape.
CH: 72-74 mph. Flashed arm-side action, keeping all of them bottom 3rd of the zone and below landing some for strikes.
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-foot-3, 195 pounds.
Hit: RH. Balanced stance, small foot lift load trigger with toe tap, slight barrel tilt swing trigger, slightly uphill swing plane using the whole field but primarily the middle of the field to pull-side gap hitting line drives and fly balls.
Power: 90.9 mph max exit velocity in BP, 77.5 mph average exit velocity, 323 feet max distance, and 12% of batted balls over 90 mph exit velocity.
Arm: RH. INF - 82 mph. Short arm action, ¾ slot, good carry with accurate throws.
Defense: Good footwork getting into fielding position, fields the ball out in front at times with a clean funnel to release while fielding the ball in rhythm towards his target.
Run: 7.55 runner in the 60.
