Standing 5-foot-10, 175-pounds the future Aggie is a nightmare for any opposing pitcher and defense when he is at the plate. Wells is a plus runner (4.01 down the line on full swing) and uses his speed to his advantage at all times. Wells has a strong, physical build allowing him to drive the baseball for extra bases as well as fight with two strikes and put the ball in play and get down the line. Wells will lockdown CF for Smithson and provide ample experience and speed at the top of the lineup.
Extremely athletic 5-foot-10, 160-pound body, Wells has a lot of strength in his frame, along with speed and power. Ran 6.90 60-yard dash, body showing more in the tank, left handed swing was up to 84 mph exit velocity from coiled lower half and high leg kick, can get good leverage on the ball. Outfield work is very aggressive, showed strong 83 mph arm with carry and accuracy.

Wells is highly athletic with a 5-10, 160-pound body. Moves well with quick feet, running a 6.9 60. Swings from the left side with low hands that whip through the zone for a long time, connects well on uphill angle, and pop off the barrel. 80 mph exit velocity off the tee. Athleticism shows well in the outfield, covering side to side with smooth approaches into the ball. Showed off 80 mph raw arm strength, and kept the ball low and accurate.
