Blair is 6-2 with a very lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open tall relaxed stance, strides on line, loads down and back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed good approach working primarily gap to gap, generates some power in the gaps with potential for more as he fills out, exit velocity was 90. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose arm action, position velocity was 82. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive crossfire delivery, shoulders are slightly downhill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish and recoil. Fastball was 82-84, with hard armside run. Slider was 72-74 with some armspeed and hard 10/4 break to it, some shape present with a chance to sharpen more as he develops. Change-up was 73-75 with good armspeed and heavy fade.
