VA/DC State Games

Lingle is 5-10 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride in place, smooth load back to a slight bar. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, uphill swing with some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a pull approach with some power potential that way, swing generates natural loft, exit velocity was 81. In the infield, rounds ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands. Works through the ball to a quick clean echange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, infield velocity was 75. Ran a 7.34 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, shorter loose arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a slight fall off finish. Fastball was 79-82, with heavy armside run that also had a bit of depth. Curveball was 71-74 with good armspeed and hard sharp 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 72-73 with good armspeed and heavy sink to it.

Power: 71 mph exit velocity from the tee. Has makings as he adds to frame to show some power to the pull side.e 
Arm: RH.  INF - 76 mph.  Short arm action, gets rid of quickly. Throws have some carry out of hand.
Defense: Good feet and hands defensively. Soft and clean exchange to release.
Run: 4.63 Home-to-first time

Athletic makeup at 5-foot-9, 140-pounds. Hits from the left side with a slightly open stance, simple stride landing square, and hands load back in rhythm. Swing path has some uphill tilt to it, gets extension through contact, and used the middle of the field well. Maintained a line drive approach with consistent barrels throughout his rounds. Exit velocity was 75 mph. Defensively Lingle displayed solid hands, glove presents out front, and a clean exchange. Arm action was short and threw from a low three-quarter arm slot at 72 mph across. Home-1st time was 4.46.
