LeClair is a Virginia commit, he has a tall lanky frame with a lot of projection left to it. Hits from the right side, short quick swing, hands stay inside and lets his length create leverage in the swing. On the swing in the video, stays very short and inside on a two-strike pitch, lining a single up the middle. Very comfortable at the plate, saw a mix of pitches in the game and did a good job of staying on balance and working deep into the count during each at-bat.

LeClair is a Virginia commit and has a lankier athletic 6-3 frame with a lot of projection left to it. Played first base in the game. Also only faced righthanders so hit from the left side the whole game. Hits from a slightly open balanced open athletic stance, short stride on line, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with violence, is balanced at contact point and gets out of the box quickly. Stays inside, short and very quick to the ball, uphill swing path with strength at contact and a lot of extension through the ball. Power is present already to pull side with more in the tank, generates a lot of bat speed with easy effort. Showed a pull approach, five at-bats in the game everything went pull side. Feel for his barrel, 3-5 in the game and one of the outs was about a foot away from being another hit.
