6-foot, 155-pounds thin athletic frame. The Marymount commit had a huge outing in relief on Saturday for Paul VI. Normal effort delivery, full arm action, and throws from a high three-quarter slot. It is a fairly quick arm and produces arm side run on the 80-82 mph fastball that touched 83 mph once. Really gets on top of the breaking ball, producing tight 12/6 shape at 66-69 mph. He showed the ability to throw it consistently for strikes and got swings and misses with it as well. Mead continuously worked himself out of jams and showed poise in tough situations.

Henson is 6-3 with a lankier projectable 185 pound frame that has some strength present in the lower half with room to add more. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth down and back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, uphill line drive swing path with some extension through the ball. Showed a good approach working gap to gap with some natural loft built in and a chance to grow into some power, exit velocity was 88. In the infield, gets body behind ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 79. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action and easier effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands slightly closed with a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 75-78, with late sink to it and a touch of armside run. Slider was 66-69 with good armspeed and gradual 10/4 break, pitch has some shape and a chance as it tightens. Change-up was 69-70 with good armspeed and some late sink to it.

Henson has a taller lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a longer loose arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Some drop and drive to his delivery, shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands open with a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 76-78, touching 80, pitch has some late armside run that has two-plane action and gets a bit of depth. Curveball was 66-69 with good armspeed and gradual 11/5 break to it, pitch has some shape and he showed feel and command of it, will sharpen as he continues to develop and the pitch tightens. Change-up was 67 with some armspeed and heavy fade to it. Was around the zone, solid three pitch mix already, lot of upside to Henson.
