5/18/26
Bradley signee. Currently ranked No. 8 in the state’s senior class. Lean, strong 6-foot-4, 191-pound frame with room for additional physical development. One of the top athletes in the state and one of the more intriguing athletes nationally in the 2026 draft class. Got the start in center field and hit fourth for Madison Memorial, going 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a walk. Left-handed hitter with an easy operation, showing ticked-up bat speed and easy strength with impact that continues to trend upward as his extra-base hit production has jumped following a late start to the spring. Defensively, showed promising actions in center field with range and feel, aggressively tracking down balls to either gap while continuing to look like a long-term center field defender. A premier follow prospect inside the state’s senior class.
2/01/26

Super 60: Another high-end athlete with a ceiling physically standing at a long limbed 6-foot-4, 195-pounds with lean strength throughout the frame. At the plate the left-handed hitter was on the barrel with ticked up bat strength and speed throughout both rounds reaching a max exit velocity of 104.9 mph with plenty more impact coming as he matures into his frame. Defensively in the outfield Liggon looked the part of a potential above average or better defender with easy range and arm strength up to 95 mph. It’s easy to fall in love with the ceiling and the performance certainly got his named circled among scouts in attendance and should continue to receive attention from scouts leading up to the MLB Draft this summer.

7/31/25

Senior Future Games 2025: Currently ranked No. 7 in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. Showing off a twitchy, projectable 6-foot-4, 191-pound frame, Liggon was a winner during the workout and showed well in the first game. The left-hander started off the testing day by running a 6.41 sec 60-yard dash with a 22.3 mph top run speed. He followed that up by showing some easy power at the plate in BP. He finished with a max exit velocity of 101.2 mph, an 89.2 mph average exit velocity, and a 348-foot max distance. He also showed athletic actions in the outfield both in testing and in gameplay. He had a 90 mph outfield velocity in testing and threw a runner out at home in Wednesday’s 8-4 win. In the first game, Liggon went 2-for-2 at the plate with two singles and a run scored.

7/17/25

Liggon would showcase a quality LHH/OF profile ahead of heading down to Georgia for the Senior Future Games. At the plate, showcased a hitterish bat with loft-based intent, pull-side tendencies, and bat speed. Finished the tournament 5-for-15 with a double, five runs scored, and a walk. Defensively showed present foot speed on the grass with developing reads and routes. 6-foot-4, 191-pound frame with levers, athleticism, strength, and room to add.

4/22/25

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 7 in the state’s junior class. Twitchy athlete, standing at 6-foot-4 190 pounds with upside physically to the frame. Hit in the three hole and played center field for the Spartans. At the plate, Liggon was impressive despite the 0-for-3 statline, finding the barrel throughout his at-bats, the ball jumped off the bat only to find the glove of a defender. At the plate, the L/L athlete made strides over the offseason taking a more natural path to the baseball and consistently barreling the baseball with authority. Defensively, Liggon has the tools of being an impact defender, showing the ability to stay in center field making rangy plays to both sides throughout. Liggon made a number of quality plays, including a highlight reel worthy catch in the gap where he had to fully extend, leaving his feet to make the grab.

Much like his brother Caleb, OF Ezra Liggon (Madison Memorial, 2026) boasts an equally projectable frame, listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds. Liggon showcased his explosive athleticism with one of the top vertical jumps of the events of 31.1 inches. With the bat, Liggon boasts a simple and repeatable swing from the left-side of the plate and back-spun balls to all fields. He showed off plenty of arm strength to play center or right field with an outfield velocity of 87 mph during the defensive portion of the event. It was yet again, another impressive look at the sophomore with serious upside.

10/16/22

Liggon boasts one of the most projectable frames on this rankings list, at 6-foot-3, 165 pounds. All across the summer circuit, Ezra has attracted attention, starting at The Rock during the 14U Summer Championships. There, the projectable athlete swung a smooth left-handed stroke which resulted in multiple hard-hit balls all throughout the weekend. Not only does Ezra impress on the baseball diamond, it also seems that he is a high-end basketball prospect which points to his athleticism he shows while on the field. If Liggon can continue to develop and grow into his projectable frame, the ceiling is enormous for this young prospect, whether it is in baseball or basketball.
