Delivery: High leg-lift, drop/drive lower-half, stride works in-line, athletic and controlled finish.
Arm Action: RH. Medium arm circle into a high 3/4 slot.

Hit: RHH. Narrow and upright set up, controlled move to hitting position with simple trigger on time. Direct, downhill, very strong hands, drives balls through both gaps, ball jumps when barreled, hits to all fields. 71.4 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 89.3 mph. 324' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-92 mph. Short arc, 3/4 slot, serious carry.
Defense: Athletic, aggressive, one hand gather, crow hop through the ball.

Haughton the 6-foot-2, 209-pound right-hander displayed innate arm speed with a fastball up to 90.3 mph, sitting mostly in the upper-80s throughout his ‘pen. He spun his curveball over 2,400 rpm at times, playing with 11/5 action. His changeup was firm out of the hand at 80-83 mph, playing with horizontal action and landed in the zone for strikes. With the bat, Haughton has notable bat speed as a result of serious hand strength and hand quickness through the ball. He had the seventh highest exit velocity of the event at 96.5 mph and the fifth highest average exit velocity at 89.3 mph with a max distance of 324 feet. Meanwhile, his 6.70 60-yard dash was an event best, along with his max vertical jump height of 34.3” which proves Haughton to be one of the best athletes in attendance.

Haughton was far and away one of the most intriguing prospects at the entire event. Currently ranked No. 25 in the state and listed at an uber-athletic 6-foot-2, 210-pounds with round shoulders and strength throughout, Haughton certainly has some rawness to his game - but the upside is tremendous. He opened up some eyes early, cruising to a 6.73 in the 60-yard dash and then showcasing a strong right-handed swing at the plate. He continued to impress throughout his round of defense, reaching up to 90 mph from a crow-hop. His arm-strength had no trouble translating over to the mound, where he worked his fastball up to 88 mph, sitting 84-87 mph. His slider flashed sharp action with a short 10/4 plane, 71-74 mph (2,100-2,300 RPM). His final offering was a heavy fading changeup with killed spin, 78-80 mph.
