7.27.17 - 6-foot-4, 220-pound, athletic catcher, physically impressive, muscular, large frame, advanced flexibility for size. Right-handed hitter, athletic setup, short stride, maintains strength through contact, pull approach. Squared the ball up hard in each of his three at-bats, finished the day one-for-three with an RBI, lone hit came on a 73 mph slider inside to him. Defensively, traditional catcher’s arm action, quick, short, over-the-top, accurate with carry. Uses large frame extremely well while blocking. Situational awareness keeps runners honest. Caught multiple runners stealing on Saturday afternoon.

7/25/17 - Physical, strong, wide shouldered frame at 6-foot-4, 220-pounds. Right-handed hitting catcher. At the plate hits from a crouched, balanced setup with a leg lift stride and good balance. Power hitter works gap to gap with a fast bat. Ball jumps off bat in games. 92 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.37. Defensively Has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Throws showed carry at 82 mph from the crouch. Gets out of the crouch quick with quick footwork and a clean exchange. Popped 1.93-2.01.

7.7.17 - Physically built at 6-foot-4, 220-pounds with advanced strength. Has made strides behind the plate defensively Caught two runners stealing in game, 2.08 and 2.20 in game pops. Strong, accurate arm, gets out of the crouch quick. Active behind the plate.

1/28/17 - Strong, physical, 6-foot-4, 215-pound catcher, plus build for his age. Defensively posted event best pop times at 1.94-2.04. Arm showed carry at 81 mph out of the crouch, short over the top slot. Transfer of the baseball is clean. Offensively hits from the right side, open setup, leg kick trigger, lower half works linearly, strong balance. Fast bat with bat strength, path has some length with pull side power, also showed ability to go gap to gap on a line. 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. 4.57 runner down the line.
3/13/16 - Large strong frame, 6-foot-4, 205-pound catcher, advanced build for his age. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, rigid lower half. Big bat strength swinger, showed bat speed, long level bat path, hard contact. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.56 runner in the 60. Defensively arm played over the top, accurate out of the crouch, 73 mph. Replaces feet out of the crouch, can gain more ground, gets tall, pop times ranged 2.07-2.16. Quiet receiver, solid blocker.
